ENCOUNTER OUTDOOR RETREATS

The ENCOUNTER Outdoor Retreats operates nine months of the year, offering field trips for public and private schools. Retreat uses the environment to teach and inspire while increasing awareness and stewardship of the outdoors. Our rural setting offers unique ecosystems that students can find in their own backyard or communities.  This allows transfer of knowledge to useful application.

With 350+ wooded acres as a backdrop, students will participate in 3-5 one hour sessions, taking adequate water breaks and lunch break. Our instructors are well-trained and have extensive experience in outdoor education. All instructors have first aid and CPR training.
